Te lang gewacht Want to resole your climbing shoes? Don't wait too long!

The best moment to resole your climbing shoes is when the rubber is almost gone, almost.
A few tips about when to resole:

  • When the glued seam on the nose is no longer a straight line but starts to bend down a little.
  • When small bumps or holes appear in the rubber.
  • When there are small round punctures less then 1 cm. in the leather.
  • When there are elongated holes of about 2 cm. along the leather seam.

And when it is no longer worth the effort:

  • When after drying of the shoes the leather feels hard and corrugated on the inside.
  • When the inner sole is broken.
